PAUSA PRANZO
È il momento della pausa nel terminal contai-
ner e la squadra K, composta da 10 operai, si
mette comoda nel proprio ufficio pronta a
gustarsi il meritato pranzo. Gianpiero
esibisce sul suo piatto un’enor-
me ed invitante salsiccia che
tutti i suoi colleghi osser-
vano con l’acquolina in
bocca, Gianpiero è im-
barazzato... Già vede la
sua salsiccia fatta in tanti
piccoli pezzettini, sparire
dal suo piatto e finire nella
bocca dei suoi 9 colleghi,
così ha un’idea e dice...
“Sono disposto a dare un pez-
zettino di salsiccia a ciascuno di
voi, più un pezzettino per me, se qualcu-
no riuscirà, con tre soli tagli, a dividerla in 10
pezzi...”
Nonostante questo stratagemma uno dei presenti
riesce a trovare la soluzione e la salciccia viene

OUT TO LUNCH
It’s lunch time in the container terminal and the
K team, composed of 10 workers, finds itself
comfortably in the office ready to enjoy
a well-deserved lunch. Gianpiero
has a huge and inviting sau-
sage on his plate that all
his colleagues look at with
mouths watering. Gianpi-
ero is embarrassed... He
can see his sausage cut
up into lots of small piec-
es that are disappearing
from his plate and ending
up in the mouths of his 9
colleagues. So he has an
idea and says…
“I’m willing to give a little piece of
sausage to each of you plus a piece for
me if someone can divide it into 10 pieces with
only three cuts!”
Despite this strategy one of them manages
to find the solution and the sausage is eaten
