IL LATTE “PSICHEDELICO”
Si può vedere “l’inquinamento”?
OBIETTIVO
Lo scopo di questo esperimento è quello di
osservare come le sostanze nocive si possano
diffondere nell’ambiente. Per eseguire questo
esperimento dovrai procurarti:
• Un piatto
• Latte intero
• Coloranti alimentari (soprattutto rosso, blu, ver-
de). I coloranti alimentari si trovano nei super-
mercati nel reparto delle decorazioni per dolci
• Sapone per i piatti
• Un contagocce
• Uno stuzzicadenti
COME FARE
Riempi il fondo del piatto con il latte
e versa alcune gocce di colo-
rante. Prendi lo stuzzicaden-
ti e bagna una delle due
punte nel sapone; dopo
di che metti la punta
all’interno delle gocce
di colore che si trova-
no sulla superficie del
latte: osserva il colo-
rante che “impazzi-
sce”. Quando l’effetto
svanisce aggiungi altro
sapone (sempre con lo
stuzzicadenti).

OBJECTIVE
The purpose of this experiment is to observe
how harmful substances can be spread into
the environment. To perform this experiment
you will need to find:
• A plate
• Some whole milk
• Food colouring (especially red, blue and
green). Food colouring can be found in super-
markets in the cake decorating department
• Washing up liquid
• A dropper
• A toothpick
HOW TO PROCEED
Fill the bottom of the dish with
milk and pour on a few drops
of colourant. Take the
toothpick and wet one
end with washing up
liquid; now place the
tip on the drops of
colour that are on the
surface of the milk:
observe how the col-
ourant goes “insane”.
When the effect wears
off add more washing
up liquid (always using
a toothpick).
