ANDIAMO A CACCIA DI MICRO METEORITI!
1. Per prima cosa metti la calamita dentro al sacchetto.
2. Esci in giardino e sfrega il sacchetto per terra,
vicino ai tombini o sotto le grondaie.
3. Vedrai che si raccoglierà molto materiale all’esterno
del sacchettino.
4. Ora prendi il foglio, mettici sopra il sacchetto e,
rapidamente, estrai la calamita, facendo cadere il materiale
raccolto sul foglio stesso.
5. Adesso prendi il foglio per i due lati e fallo oscillare delicatamente
su e giù, noterai che ci sono delle micro sferette che rotolano
velocissime da un lato all’altro: quelle sono micro meteoriti.
6. Osservale con la lente d’ingrandimento: puro materiale
extraterrestre proveniente dalle profondità dello spazio.
7. Se la lente non è abbastanza potente prova con un microscopio,
prima però dovrai catturare la micro meteorite con la punta di
uno stuzzicadenti bagnato e metterla su di un vetrino porta oggetti.

LET’S SEARCH FOR MICRO METEORITES.
1. First, put the magnet in the bag.
2. Go into the garden and rub the bag on the ground,
near drains or under gutterings.
3. You’ll see that a lot of material is collected on the outside
of the bag.
4. Now get the sheet of paper, put the bag on top of it,
and quickly remove the magnet, letting the material collected
on the sheet fall off.
5. Now hold the sheet on two sides and gently wave it up and down.
You’ll notice that there are micro spheres that quickly roll from
one side to the other - these are micro meteorites.
6. Look at them using the magnifying glass. They are pure
extra-terrestrial material from the depths of space.
7. If the magnifier isn’t strong enough try a microscope.
First though, you’ll have to capture the micro meteorite
with the end of a wet toothpick and put it on a glass dish.
