THE FUTURE IS A
TINY APPLE SEED.
All’inizio è piccolo,
assolutamente
insignificante,
eppure contiene
tutte le informazioni
necessarie per far
crescere un albero.
Minuscolo, eppure in
grado di organizzarsi
con radici e foglie.
Per crescere avrà bisogno di
anni, di tutta la sua forza vitale,
del terreno adatto, della pioggia,
del sole e di un po’ di fortuna.
Un giorno quel semino sarà
diventato un melo, con i suoi
fiori bianchi e poi con le sue
mele dolci.
Il futuro è questo, il futuro sei
tu, sei quel semino e noi, con
il progetto Portolab* vogliamo
essere un po' il tuo terreno, un po'
il tuo sole, un po' la tua pioggia,
perché tu possa dare i frutti
migliori al Mondo che verrà.
*Il progetto Portolab è nato 12
anni fa, se nel 2006 avessimo
piantato un melo oggi
avremmo mangiato le prime
mele...
At first it is small,
absolutely insignificant,
and yet it contains
all the information
needed to grow a tree.
It is minuscule, and
still able to
get organised,
take roots, grow
leaves. In order
to grow, it will need years, all
its vital energy, good soil, rain,
sun, and a bit of luck. One day,
that tiny seed will have become
an apple tree, covered in white
flowers, and later bearing sweet
apples.
This is the future, you are the
future, you are that seed, and we,
with our Portolab* project, want
to be a bit of your soil, a bit of
your sun, a bit of your rain, so
that you can give your best fruits
to the World that will
come.
*The Portolab project
started 12 years ago,
and if we had planted
a tree in 2006, we
would be eating
our first apples
today...
